Archangel: Hellfire was a project that Playside obtained, after the success of the original Archangel game. For this project, Skydance asked us to help them finish off their multiplayer VS and cooperative game mode which would be released as a DLC. My work consisted of training a team to use UE4, making a cooperative (Player VS AI) mode, assisting Skydance with the PVP mode, and implementing Nvidia Blast (a destruction plugin) into the typical game-play systems.
This project was a major learning milestone for me, as it introduced some complex systems - such as Nvidia Blast, real-time multiplayer, realistic AI, and a back end hosted on AWS.
