Description:
Dumb Ways to Dash was a project I was moved onto a while after the completion of Dumb Ways to Die: 2. This project was an endless runner - designed to have infinite replay-ability and an addictive core loop. The objective of the game is simple - run through an obstacle course against other players without “dying in a dumb way”. Working alongside a designer and another engineer, we were tasked with creating the game in a very short period of time.
The product itself turned out to be extremely fun to play, it satisfying seeing your character flop around - or get sliced in half by a buzz saw. Overall the game did well and the clients were very happy with our work.
