When Apple announced their new AR Kit feature, Playside knew it had to get ahead of the curve and dominate the market as soon as possible. Given this, we were tasked to create a new IP in just two weeks that could cater to the emerging AR market - hence AR: Dragon.
This project has one of the fastest turn-around times I have ever been a part of. With my limited knowledge of Unity at the time, I was tasked with learning on the job, to help wherever I could. I was in charge of adding Localisation to the game, as well as assisting with game-play elements wherever I could.
On its release, AR: Dragon was the most downloaded AR app on the charts - achieving the goals that it had set out to do.
